Job Responsibilities:

•Set strategy for discovery and preclinical R&D efforts in cell therapy and biologic fields, taking into account both cutting edge sciences and internal strengths to address unmet medical needs and realize commercial potential of therapies.

•Build a project pipeline through internal R&D, collaboration, license-in and/or acquisition in the field. Select the projects based on scientific merit, strategic fit and economic value.

•Assemble/ manage a team of talented scientists to execute on the development strategy. Motivate team members, manage team operations to ensure project progress.

•Drive the progress of pipeline projects and collaborations according to agreed upon timelines.

•Lead or participate business development efforts, working with other colleagues to assess the quality and fit of external assets. Help company management make decisions on asset acquisition or collaboration.

•Stay connected with scientific community, stay up to date with the latest scientific discovery and industry trends, stay alert about potential technology--driven opportunities and alerts from competitors.

•Work collaboratively with internal and external cross--functional teams, collaborators/consultants to plan and execute on the overall research and development plans.

•Participate in business initiatives that further the strategic and business objectives of the company.

•Communicate program progress and issues to senior management, regulatory agencies as necessary, and at national and international conferences as appropriate.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

1.15+ years of industry experience in the biopharmaceutical industry with 5+ years in Senior leadership/managerial positions. Prior experience in the field of immunology of tumor required. Ideally with 8+ years experience working at cell therapy field;

2.PhD in Immunology related major required;

3. Proved success track record of advancing discovery projects into early clinical development.

4. Extensive leadership and management skills ideally developed in Big Pharma or high profile cell therapy（Start-up） companies;

5.Effective interpersonal skills. Prior experience with establishing and advancing industry partnerships strongly desired;

6. Ability to work in a fast-paced, start-up environment, Results oriented, high execution;

7. International travel as needed for up to 20% of the time, including US and/China.
